I've been playing Native American style Flute for about 16 years and just started getting into recording with them in the last year or so. I love that the Feather doesn't add any weight to the flute and I can adjust the gooseneck to find the "sweet spot" for each flute. The feather works equally well for regular or drone flutes, and the various attachment methods give lots of flexibility. The various cords Myers offers also give you all sorts of options for what kind of equipment you want to use, from USB to XLR or just a 1/4 inch jack.
