Kyle Lee is a professional banjo and guitar player from Nashville, Tennessee. He got his start in banjo when he was 9 years old and was asked what he wanted for Christmas. It just so happened that it was a banjo that sparked his interest that year and the challenge of mastering the famous Earl Scruggs three finger roll. At the age of 15, he became part of Youngtown, a teenage bluegrass band, and had the opportunity to showcase his banjo talent and play with several great musical influences. In the summer of 2016, Kyle earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. During his time at MTSU, he had the privilege of interning with Music City Roots - Nashville's acclaimed roots and Americana variety show. Now, Kyle is following his passion and playing as much music as he possibly can. He is currently performing with both the Back 80 Bluegrass band, as well as the newly formed Lateral Blue band.
