"After hearing a Cajon play out live I knew I had to have one. I received a beautiful Cajon for my birthday (thanks Kathy) and immediately looked into ways of amplifying it. I found that most drummers place a Shure SM58 in the sound hole which worked but I knew there had to be a better way. After a bunch of research I found Gregg Myers and his inductive cajon pickup system. As a kit drummer I was a little skeptical about a suction cup mic but ordered it anyway. When I received it and hooked it up and played my Cajon through a small bass amp my thoughts were, "This thing rocks!" Then I tried running it through a D/I box, straight to the board and it shook my studio! Next I stuck it on my Breedlove 12 string and again it was amazing!
